The COVID-19 pandemic has affected many industries all over the world. While we are still able to operate online despite the cancellation of many in-person events, we have been badly affected by shipping delays.
This includes a delay in restocking as well as getting orders shipped out to you. Please take a moment to read the information below, especially if you are making an international order.
In-Person Conventions
Due to bans on travel enforced by many national governments, all appearances at large scale events and gatherings have been postponed and/or cancelled until the situation improves. As a result, we also cannot facilitate in-person pick-ups of any form until further notice.
North American Delivery
We will only be dispatching packages once a week. Many of our staff have been temporarily laid off and/or are working on reduced hours due to the current economic conditions. Unfortunately, of the few members who remain, several have pre-existing conditions that increase risk with respiratory diseases like Covid-19. We ask for your patience during this period.
In addition, please expect delays in shipping times of up to 5-7 working days. Our delivery partners are working hard during this overwhelming period to get orders out to you.
If postal carriers raise their rates, expect ours to raise as well. However, we'll also be doing our very best to keep delivery costs low during this time by absorbing as much of the increases in shipping costs ourselves as we can.
International Delivery
In addition to the specifications for North American Delivery, International Delivery faces one more challenge. While we will still be mailing out international orders once a week, there has been a significant reduction in air freight capacity and frequency to many international destinations.
This has resulted in the need to split-ship orders that weigh greater than 2kg and substantial delays of up to 75 days in delivery time.
If you would prefer to wait for your physical copies, we can hold onto the items for you until full postal service resumes. Otherwise, we recommend purchasing exclusively digital content (e.g. PDF Only) in the interim. (All of our physical books and game materials are available in digital format.)
Missing Items
To expedite shipping and bypass border closures as much as possible, we have partnered up with as many local delivery services as possible. Our delivery partners may, on rare occasion, miss items in your orders. If that occurs, please send us an e-mail at support@nomnivoregames.com to resolve your issue.
Safety and Hygiene
Although Covid-19 has been estimated to live on surfaces such as cardboard and plastics for up to 3 days, we promise to ensure the maximum safety and hygiene when handling your products. We routinely wash our hands, wear masks and gloves, and disinfect our goods when preparing your orders.
